Brazilian Girls BRAZILIAN GIRLS - "Good Time"
Finally, some hot new sounds from electro-world-dance champions Brazilian Girls! Their new album "New York City" drops August 5th and this first single is perfect for the, err… good times of summer.

DIZZEE RASCAL DIZZEE RASCAL f/ CALVIN HARRIS & CHROME - "Dance Wiv Me"
This time around, we find Dizzee collaborating with fellow UK sensation Calvin Harris for an undeniably catchy new single that has been completely racing up the charts overseas. Good times, dancing…hmm, so far, seems summer has us feeling pretty good.

Jem JEM - "It's Amazing"
It's hard to believe it's been 4 long years since Welsh artist Jem tickled our ears with some new sounds! She's back with a new album "Down To Earth" this fall, which you're sure to love if you're a fan of Imogen Heap, Cat Power, or Beth Orton.

Black Kids BLACK KIDS - "Look At Me (When I Rock Wichoo)"
Super-hyped blog darlings of 2007 and indie popsters Black Kids exploded out of Florida last year with their sugary sweet dance pop concoctions that remind us of The Cure, The Go! Team, and Tilly & The Wall.

Micky Green MICKY GREEN - "Shoulda"
Australian-in-Paris Micky Green's chic pop sounds got an even more stylish touch when she teamed up with producer Renaud Letang, who is well known for his work with Feist, Jamie Lidell, and Manu Chao.

ST. LOLA IN THE FIELDS ST. LOLA IN THE FIELDS - "Happy"
Undeniably sunny, and well, happy, this song from Nashville's St. Lola In The Fields couldn't be more summery if it tried. We're excited to hear more from this band soon!

RAPHAEL SAADIQ RAPHAEL SAADIQ - "Sure Hope You Mean It"
Saadiq's new album couldn't be more wonderful if it tried - it brought a smile to our faces the first time we heard it with its retro soul sounds that harken back to legends like Smokey Robinson and The Temptations. It's impossible not to sway back and forth to this one.

THE CAESARS THE CAESARS - "No Tomorrow"
These Swedish indie garage-rockers are back, and we love the surf sounds they've added to so many of their songs on the new album "Strawberry Weed."
FOREIGNER FOREIGNER - "Urgent"
You know that chart-topping 70's super-rockers Foreigner will get you air drumming and singing along in no time with this one!
DUKES OF WINDSOR DUKES OF WINDSOR - "So Beautiful"
Our favorite Australian electro-rockers just keep on delivering the jams and we keep on taking them! This is another of our recent faves of theirs, after the infectious "In The Wild".
PLUMP DJs PLUMP DJs - "System Addict"
Much like fellow dance music pioneers Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers, Plump DJs have been infecting dance floors with their hook-laden electronic anthems since the late 90's. Their new album "Headthrash" seems easily on its way to be contender for one of the best dance albums of the year!
NAÏVE NEW BEATERS NAÏVE NEW BEATERS - "Live Good (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)"
Sometimes a remix takes a song and shakes it up WAY past where it was before. While we love the laidback, Beck-esque stylings of the original track by these Paris pranksters, the Bloody Beetroots' remix grabs it by the hand and drags it to a much crazier party that we'd like to be invited to.
JUVELEN JUVELEN - "Don't Mess"
Prince-inspired vocal stylings? Check. Swedish synthesizer magic? Check. What's not to like here?? Juvelen's sound is totally unexpected and fresh.
COBRA KILLER COBRA KILLER - "Heavy Rotation"
Germany's digital hardcore queens Cobra Killer delivered this scrumptious treat of a track a few years back. It reminds us of the high energy, danceable sounds of bands like Chicks On Speed and Le Tigre!
LAST GANG LAST GANG - "Forever Young"
One of the more recent fun new things to cross our desks, Last Gang have the innocent pop feel of UK band McFly combined with the classic London energy of The Jam.
NEIL HALSTEAD NEIL HALSTEAD - "Always The Good"
Former Slowdive founder and Mojave 3 current member Neil Halstead's solo material has a lot of the same acoustic dreaminess that we love about his first two bands. The new album "Oh! Mighty Engine" is perfect for those lazy, introspective summer days.
ORBA SQUARA ORBA SQUARA - "Come So Far"
A sneak preview of a sweet acoustic ballad from their upcoming new album! More goodness to come in 2008 from Orba Squara, to be sure.
BARBARA MORGENSTERN BARBARA MORGENSTERN - "Eine Verabredung"
German electronic artist Barbara Morgenstern takes a cinematic cue from another one of our favorite German electronic artists, Ulrich Schnauss, with this beautiful lo-fi landscape of a song.
MICAH P. HINSON MICAH P. HINSON - "Don't You Forget (Part 1 & 2)"
After all those good times and dancing and heavy rotation earlier in the mix, sometimes it's nice to have a reflective moment. Micah P Hinson's honest and simple strumming falls into the same lovely quarters as other indie bands like The Long Winters and Sparklehorse. Maybe it's just us, but we also hear a little twinge of 90's favorites Tripping Daisy in this one!
ASTRUD GILBERTO ASTRUD GILBERTO - "Bim Bom (Psapp Remix)"
Everybody always looks forward to the elegantly put together remix collection "Verve Remixed", and this summer finally brought the new edition. This one is a great combination of one of Astrud Gilberto's quirkiest, deliciously fun tracks with Psapp's own brand of whimsy and delight.
